Just followed directions to a “t” and now we have a full lawn sprouting where only nothing had grown. The fast-growing warm-season grasses include Bermuda grass, centipede grass, and buffalograss. Wow does this come up fast. I bought this seed and within about 10 days it began to grow uniformly with abundant blades. I garden for a living and this grass really works for trouble areas . I live in the high desert, and so far it’s been growing thick and rapid, despite how dry it is here. Dirt turned into beautiful lawn. I’d buy it again. I have had excellent results now and am upping my review to 5 stars. Warm-season grasses grow best in areas that see hot summers and milder winters, such as the Deep South and the southeast. Yes it is annual and will need replanting next year but within 2.5 weeks on soil with very poor drainage and partial shade we have grass growing. Works like a charm. I am updating my review.

Grew almost 2 inches in 1 week, thickened by 2nd week and was 2.5 inches in length on clay-like ground. I find myself staring at my yard, it looks so healthy. So I bought Fast and grow from Jonathon Green.. You just have to protect the seeds from birds for about 2 weeks or so, I used chicken wire to cover the area, and it starts growing in no time. I have attached photos of before and after so you can see the results. I also planted the Jonathan Green Dense Shade Mix on a bald patch between two trees in my front yard and got the same results. I did zero prep to the yard. Spent lots of money at Lowe’s for grass seed that never grew. I watered with a sprinkler for 15 minutes (one heavy rain) in early evening and early am. I spread the grass seed out and then spread horse manure on top and it grew in very little time.

So I just sprinkled the fast grow grass on the large dead spot and watered.

Well it grew and looked really nice then died. Germination speed is greatly influenced by soil temperature, however. All I can say about this product is “AWESOME”!!! I was thinking of buying this product looks good. Now, it is very very thin and frail, it also will die quickly if you don’t cut every 3 days or if you have your pets soil your grass. The soil was 4yds good topsoil, 2yds fully finished compost.

I used them this fall in 60 degree weather and results of thick growth was up in about 7-10 days. Great for spots that you need to fill in. It worked well in my backyard. Once the new turf is around three inches high, it’s time to mow. Now it’s beautiful grass! I had better results several years ago with seed advertised on TV to grow on anything. Often needs tilling to truly flourish. Great for problem areas or poor soil, does well with or without sun. Grew super fast.

Its been 2 and half weeks and I am truly impressed. This product works as advertised and is well worth it. A lot of rain has been beneficial. Worked perfect. I’ll update after a few more months as to it’s durability.

The only problem I had was that the grass looked a little thin when it started growing, but I’m sure that could be why it suggests to use fertilizer, etc. Try it you won’t be disappointed. I did sprinkle on areas that were not associated with the patch master patches just so I could see how fast they germinate.. and in 3-4 days after rainy weather.. the seeds did begin to grow. So now I have no bare spots, but be warned that this grass mixture is a bright green which in my case contrasts with the seed mixture around it. Really covers about 250 sq.

Began growing within 2 weeks & the grass is strongly rooted & healthy. Put a product called sta-green on top of the seeds. I read a few reviews that the grass didn’t last for a 2nd year, but I was willing to take the chance. Grass started pushing through the ground in 6 days. Plan to overseer my entire lawn with this product next spring!
